Lost Ark’s February update brings several bits of new content to the MMORPG, introducing a new advanced class, progression events, and changes to Ark Passives. It also marks the beginning of Stage 1 of the Frontier System. The game’s devs offered a brief overview of the new content in the latest Eye on Arkesia video, seen below.
In addition to the video, the team also dropped a spotlight post for the Wildsoul Advanced Class. This class relies on a connection with nature that it can utilize in two different ways: Transformation or Spirit Beast Summoning. The class features a three-meter identity system that allows players to switch between Bear, Fox, or Phantom Beast Awakening forms. It also boasts two playstyles. Phantom Beast Awakening is a fast-paced playstyle that focuses on skill cycling. Wild Instincts, on the other hand, is burst-focused and shifts between the Bear and Fox forms.
Each of the forms the Wildsoul can shift into has its own abilities and combat styles. This means players will have a certain amount of flexibility, but will also have to spend some time mastering the class.
The update arrives on February 26th.
