Pirate101 has opened up its latest new chapter with the recently launched “Enemy Revealed” update. The update takes us to ancient Egypt-inspired Krokotopia, with all new story content, new gear, weapons, new enemies, and several updates and revamps.
When you hear Krokotopia, you might be thinking, Kroks, we’ve seen those before, but these are different. Introducing new enemies like the Draconian minions and Skeletal Drakes,And more surprises. There are new locations to discover within Krokopia too.
Speaking of surprises, Kingsisle has brought back The Armads. Wel, sort of. You’ve defeated most in the last story arc, but there are some of these enemies hanging on, waiting to launch new obstacles to get in your way. You want to get to El Dorado, but they won’t surrender and are bent on keeping things chaotic. So you’ll have some work to do.
The team also promises that you will see the face of the villain that is behind the disappearance of the Pirate’s parents. This is a story driven update, after all, and it seems like they’re trying to flip things on their heads a little bit and turn some of what you might consider at first to be familiar, into something more challenging the second time around.
There are several pharaoh-themed gear sets, a companion revamp for Nurse Quinn, with new powers and talents, and 9 new badges to collect. There are new weapons to get your hands on from the region, as well as several new gear accessory items, and a brand new mount, Sokar’s Krokosphinx. There are also several new housing items to collect, all in the Krokotopian style. Who knows when you might need a new bed or an obelisk.
