The Elder Scrolls Online is getting a special reveal stream this week where the team will fill us in on the big changes and other stuff coming for the MMORPG this year. ZOS has also released a January roadmap detailing events, including new Golden Pursuits, PTS update, and the Writhing Wall makeup event.
On Wednesday, January 7th, at 3pm Eastern, the ESO team will go live to unveil the big changes coming this year. This reveal stream will be live on Bethesda’s Twitch channel. A new Golden Pursuits campaign, Get Ready to Ride, also starts on Wednesday and, according to the January roadmap announcement, “supports our big reveal show”. More details on the goodies and activities are to come, but one thing you’ll be able to earn is the Anniversary Fellowship Bear mount.
On January 12th, there will be another live stream where the community team and feature lead Kira Schlitt will talk about improvements and additions that are coming to the base game. update 49 to the base game will hit the PTS on January 12th.
The New Life Festival is on until tomorrow, so if you have some last-minute goodies to collect, you can do that today. The current Golden Pursuits campaign also ends tomorrow. Crazy King is returning January 8th through the 13th for those who love small-scale PvP action. Later in the month, PvPers get another event, with the return of Whitestrake’s Mayhem from January 21-February 4th.
Finally, January 21-28th will be the re-do of Writhing Wall Phase 3 for those who didn’t get a chance to take on the dungeon during the in-game event when it was sped up or perhaps got frustrated with the slowness of the event before that. The ESO team promised that they would have a redo of just the Final Phase since this was a one-time event.
