Some Spooky Variety Comes to World of Warcraft’s October Trading Post

October’s World of Warcraft Trading Post has a few new goodies to collect next month. Blizzard is also announcing a special return for November as part of the WoW 20th anniversary.

Since it is an October list, things are getting spooky, including in the armor and weapon transmog options. A Ragged Harvest Golem ensemble is available for 800 Trader’s Tender those who want to scare off some birds or visitors. Granny’s Old Hat will have you looking appropriately witchy for 175 TT. On the weapons front, you can add the Feathered Bow of the Night Battle-tested Obsidian Warhammer, and Harvester’s Claw. There are als a few cosmetics for wands.

Since the release of The War Within, remember that cosmetics you get now apply to your Warband, so you can share with your other characters.

Next month, if you are looking for a new mount to add to your collection, there are three that you can claim. The Swift Zhevra mount (550 TT) is a trusty example of Azeroth wildlife. On the other hand, The Hand of Reshkigaal (750 TT) is appropriately spooky, with the big spiky hand heralding your arrival. Not any less intimidating is the Soot-Stained Shalewing (200 TT)  pet. That third mount? The month’s bonus reward item for filling up all of the activities bar on your Traveler’s Log. You too can ride on a giant jellyfish with the Depthstalker.

Beyond the full October Trading Post,  in November, last year’s armor sets and transmog weapon sets will return. Each of the armor sets will feature three pieces and the weapon sets have three weapons. There will be no class restrictions this time, which fits into the Warband feature as well. Any class that can wear or use that particular transmog can use it.

Since you can save the Trader’s Tender you earn and also potentially pin an item that you want to save up for and buy later, Blizzard’s surprise announcement on the return of those sets makes sense.
